With the exception of socks, shoes, & underwear, & a budgeted summer & fall/school wardrobe for Kasen.
NO FRIVOLOUS SPENDING
If we can survive another year without it, we can't buy it. If we do need something, we must search for a used version first when possible.
BUDGETED EATING
Groceries will be budgeted monthly. Once the budget is gone, only milk, eggs, peanut butter, & apples may be replenished the remainder of the month.
One family dinner out per month maximum + one "date" out per month maximum.
Each adult may eat out a maximum of twice a month, not to exceed $15 per meal.
OUTINGS/VACATIONS
One family outing per month (zoo, museum, etc).
Budget of $25/month maximum for weekday outings.
Vacations must be CHEAP (camping, day trips, etc).
Trips to Dallas must have a budget applied/followed.
SPECIAL EXCEPTIONS
Graham's first birthday ($ for party spot in Dallas)
Kasen's birthday (family day of fun & playdate party)
Family pictures (summer)
MOPS fee - 2 semesters/year
Birthday gifts - homemade or nothing for adults, $20 maximum for kids
Other exceptions can be made if necessary, as they come up.
